Zaheer Ruled Out Of Series, Replace RP Singh

Zaheer Khan Pulled over in his 14th Over, RP Singh Replace him

Zaheer Khan, the fast bowler in India, was ruled out from the rest of the series against England. He will return to India and will be replaced by the left arm seamer RP Singh. Zaheer suffered a thigh injury during the first test in the Lord, but the BCCI said it was not just a problem with recurring hamstring, but also a step in the right ankle that will require surgery, followed by a period of 14 to 16 weeks of rehabilitation

Zaheer The problems started as soon as the first day of the series, when he pulled over in his mid-fourteenth in the first innings of the Lord. Management Team reported Zaheer could be ready to bowl in the second inning, but was not able to do so and rejected the second Test, Trent Bridge. He was expected in return for Edgbaston Test but only got through three movements of Indians in a warm-up match Northampton, and has now been withdrawn from the squad.
